Les Gets awarded the "Famille Plus" Certification again

We all know that Les Gets is recognised as one of the best resorts in the world for a family resort.

In France, there is a national certification called the ‘Famille Plus’ which requires resorts to meet 110 requirements and 6 commitments for family holidays.

This is renewed year and of course, Les Gets has been awarded this label again.

The criteria include:

  • reception and information
  • the animations /entertainment
  • activities
  • the environment and heritages
  • accommodation, restaurants and shops/services
  • equipment and safety

Every year in Les Gets, new facilities and services are developed to help ensure families have a great holiday. There are also activities and events for children on and off the slopes, throughout the season and also for the summer.

As part of the assessment, the authorities were shown the Grand Cry territory - based on the theme of North American Indians, the Milka Purple run  - which is is another favourite area for kids where you can get hot chocolate and a picture with a Milka Cow!

Off the slopes, the little ones will have a great time at Bankids, the new ice-themed playground, located behind the Maison des Gets or take a ride on the historic Les Gets merry-go-round. (Next door is the ice rink, another family attraction!)

Events and activities are organised throughout the week during the winter. To see the events relating to your week, view our Events Pages (enter date of your arrival to see what is on).

Les Gets also has outstanding creche from the age of 6 months, Les Fripouilles, and the ESF have a creche with a snow/ski play area at the back. Children can stay half or a whole day and can have a mix of learning to ski, play inside and play outside.
