Michel Rostalski, a passionate naturalist, offers walks to observe the medicinal plants of the mountains, to discover their virtues and to make products from collecting plants from our mountain pastures and forests in Les Gets, from balms to sap.

A true multi-sensory adventure, Alta Lumina brings the whole family to a fairytale world for an enchanting evening. In the forest, discover the story of the music, the hot air balloon, and the mountains.

Fred, a qualified French chef, will come to your chalet and spend the afternoon cooking with you, explaining and training you in some of the special methods of French cooking and you will be left with a wonderful meal to warm up and eat in the evening.

Les Gets is now fortunate to have the oldest fully operational merry-go-round in France, this is open for rides from around 4.00 to around 8.00 each evening in the summer and ski seasons.

Les Gets has the only Museum of Mechanical Musical Instruments in the world, this is a fascinating museum, and on a tour, many exhibits will be demonstrated.

Every Thursday morning between 8am and midday, the local market sets up in the Marais parking area, on the righthand side just before the Chamois d’Or hotel.

Ferme de Caroline is on the Chavannes Road, just down from the Les Folliets Ski lift. The whole area enjoys the bells ringing of the Cows and Goats roaming on the slopes in the summer  - in the winter they are kept in sheds.

The Dolby Digital cinema has several daily sessions and the movies change daily. In the case of bad weather on the mountain there is an extra 3pm session but the usual sessions are at 17h30 and 21h00.
