Ski Joering - Les Gets - Review on a different ski activity
Last week our chalet assistant was lucky to have her mum down for a few days and they decided to do something a bit different and went ski joering.
Ski joering is when horses pull you along on your skis, it can be practiced by anyone who loves skiing and horses. Be it a gentle stroll or at a thrilling gallop, both the young and old can enjoy. The photo explains it all- they had a brilliant time and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who loves horses and skiing.
This coming week in Les Gets is half term week, very busy week for our chalets 1066 team who are all working hard to make sure everything is prepared and ready for our next guests arriving this Saturday.
Talking of this Saturday - Valentines day is upon us! On the Mont Chery side of Les Gets a special event is taking place - the cable cart to the top of Mont Chery is being specially decorated. You'll enjoy an unusual experience and a lovely view of Les Gets by night during a romantic 30-minute return ride in a bubble car. We wish you all a Happy Valentines day!
Update : Ski-joering is not available in Les Gets from winter 2020-2021 but you can still enjoy it in the resort around Morzine and Avoriaz.
