Les Gets - Some news about Les Gets and building work

Ben and Morven have just returned from Les Gets, to the UK, they have been having 3 hours of French lessons each day, with Lost in Translation and working on Hastings and other Chalets in the rest of their time. Lost in Translation are based in Morzine and have an excellent team of people who teach French, the French government subsidize lessons for non-French nationals who are working in France - to learn French - we have found this to be an excellent scheme.

They report that there are still 7 massive cranes in Les Gets and everyone is working hard on trying to complete chalets, apartments and hotels for the start of the ski season.

Whilst the quality of the accommodation being built seems to be very high, we all suspect that some may well be a little late and so there could well be a shortage of accommodation for the ski season.
