Les Gets - Ski season end - Activities & events still going on
Well all good things have to come to an end and the end of winter season is one of them, but Les Gets is keeping us all entertained till the end.
We recently had a very exciting event taking place literally on Chalets 1066's doorstep. Last Week on Thursday 19th March we had the Rock the Piste festival where Selah Sue gave an incredible performance at the top of the Les Folliets lift.
There is also a big party coming up soon at the Bellevue Apres ski bar at the bottom of the Chavanne on the 5th of April with live music. Everyone at Chalets 1066 has their fingers crossed in the hope for more snow.
The middle of the week looks promising so let's hope we get a nice covering to see us through till the very end of the season.
In the catered chalet this week we had a family of ten staying, some of them decided to do a day trip to Geneva and they said it was amazing. It only took them around an hour to get their and then they spent the day wondering around the beautiful lake with their beautiful 1-year-old. We did kiddies supper every night at Lapye last week as we had three youngsters staying, they had just as much of a treat with their food as the adults did.
And on Tuesday they even got to make homemade pizza with the Chalet host - they looked delicious!!
