Les Gets - Busy Half term week - Guests in Chalet Le Lapye
Here at Chalets 1066 we had a very busy half term week- with all our chalets fully booked.
The weather conditions were superb for that week with lots of beautiful sunny days and plenty of snow - which everyone was very happy about.
This week in our catered chalet Le Lapye, we had some friends of Ben over from Australia. They had an amazing few days skiing and thoroughly enjoyed our chalets host delicious cooking. On Wednesday night all the guests in Le Lapye including Ben and Sue went out for a meal at Boomerang down in the village.
The food is amazing there with such a wide variety of food from French, Spanish, English, Asian, Mexican and Italian cuisine. And on that particular night, there was a very talented band playing. They all had a brilliant evening!
We have some exciting events coming up in Les Gets - one in particular called Rock the Piste which is taking place across the whole of the Portes Du Soleil. It is a radical music festival that takes place on the slopes between the 14th - 21st of March.
Make sure you get yourself to one of the many locations that the different rock/pop bands are playing at on the pistes :)!!
