Blue skies, fresh snow, great Piste Conditions - Les Gets
All pictures were taken today on the Les Gets pistes. We had snow yesterday and overnight and blue Skies this morning.
All the pictures in this blog were taken this morning between around 10.15hrs and 12.15hrs on the Les Gets Pistes. We had big flakes of show yesterday and overnight and you can see we had blue skies this morning. This was one of the best days this ski season. More snow is forecast later this week and also next week.
The first picture, opposite, was taken on the Les Folliets lift.
The second picture, above, was again taken from the Les Folliets lift, closer to the top, you can see Point de Nyon ( which we have hiked up in the summer) and there are two small figures skiing off piste.
This is the bottom of the Charniaz Express lift - only a week ago the queues were much much longer!

This is the new picnic platform, this is part way down the Violette Piste and there are great views across the bowl.
