Chalet Au gré du temps

Au Gre du Temps is a very large and well-appointed four bedroom chalet. After a walk of around 30m, you can ski in/out from/to the Chavannes piste. The chalet will accommodate up to 10 people. There are spectacular views of Mont Chery and the surrounding countryside.

Living area and kitchen

The Chalet has a large open plan living room with high ceilings, a log fire, a dining area, a comfy seating area, and a fully equipped kitchen which is partially divided off. The size of the whole chalet is around 180 square metres. At the entrance level, there is also a large boot room, sauna for 2 people and WC. There is satellite TV.

There is also a separate bathroom.

Outside the Chalet

There is a west-south facing large terrace with direct access to the living room, and a large balcony with an amazing view on Mont-Chéry, on the other side of the chalet from the living area. A large garden with grass is accessible by the rooms downstairs. On the drive, there is parking for two cars. There is also a garage where you can store bikes in the summer.

Getting to and from the village and ski slopes

During the day there is a free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes during Christmas, New Year and February, and every 30 minutes the rest of the season. You can see from the piste/lifts map opposite how close the bus stop is to the chalet.
At night there is a phone up service shuttle from 7.30pm until 11pm that runs to and from the village to your door. 

Please note:

We've been managing this chalet for many years, and while it's true that no renovation work has been carried out, and that it's certainly a little old-fashioned, it's got that traditional charm and a story to tell. You should be aware that Chalet Au Gre du Temps is not equipped with the latest appliances or television. `However, if you would like a chalet which is light and airy, traditional in feel, with spectacular views, and economically priced, then this chalet is well worth considering.
