The Alpine Foodie is a company operating in Les Gets and surrounding area and offering private catering directly at your chalet.

Both Joe and Harriet have got a wealth of experience within Catering and Hospitality, which is what led them to setting up The Alpine Foodie.

​Joe has been cheffing from a young age, and has worked in many different restaurants, gastro pubs and fine dining venues over the years. His love for snowboarding led him to his 3rd ski season in Morzine. He quickly came to realise that it is where he wants to build his career, and live his life, and so settled down into working as a chalet chef in some of Morzine's most beautiful properties. 6 seasons later, he met Harriet, and together they have taken the plunge and formed The Alpine Foodie. 

Harriet used to work as a recruitment consultant for a catering and hospitality company. This involved training front of house staff and coordinating high profile events in Warwickshire and Oxfordshire... but alas the mountains were calling and she went and never came back! She originally trained at the orchards school of cookery, and develops her passion for food both with Joe and within chalets; everyday, summer and winter. Harriet has also catered for the health conscious market; mainly road bikers and triathletes, many of whom have specific diets and nutrition plans. She like Joe, loves locally sourced produce and the amazing veg that comes into season in the summer months.

Here are their menu options for the 2021/2022 Winter season : 

Menu Option 1 : 

The most popular menu package, including afternoon tea, 3 courses each night with wine or beer, and welcome canapes and drinks.

Premium bottled wine or artisan locally brewed beer included with dinner Also included: Continental breakfast on 7 mornings Different hot option for breakfast on 6 mornings Afternoon tea on 5 days Welcome drinks and canapés on the first night.

Price 350 € / adult for the week 

Menu Option 2 : 

Slightly more relaxed package, with 2 course sharing platters each night including wine, with the option to customise and add on the extras you want.

Red, White or Rose wine included with dinner Also included: Continental breakfast on 7 mornings Different hot option for breakfast on 6 mornings.

Price 300 € / adult for the week

Childrens option : 

You know your children better than anyone, which is why the Alpine Foodie has decided to give you complete control on what they eat for the duration of their holiday. Pick and choose from different items to build a menu that not only satisfies your want for a balanced and nutritious diet for your child but is also something that they will actually want to eat!!

Salade de Savoie – Mache lettuce, aged Comté, crispy lardons, crispy shallots, charred croutons, walnuts, walnut oil and red wine vinegar dressing
