Combine your love of the great outdoors with the delicious flavours of the Haute-Savoie at the Rallye Gourmand! Returning to Les Gets on Friday, the 7th of August 2026, this much-loved event is an unmissable highlight of the summer calendar. Organised by the Association des RĂ©sidents GĂȘtois, it invites you on a scenic 8-kilometre walk punctuated by fantastic food and local entertainment.
At Chalets1066, we believe the best way to discover our region is through its landscape and its cuisine. This family-friendly gastronomic walk is a wonderful opportunity for our guests to explore the village and surrounding trails at a leisurely pace, tasting regional specialities along the way.
A Walking Tour with a Delicious Twist
The Rallye Gourmand is not a race; it is a relaxed, social event where the journey is just as important as the destination. Armed with a fun questionnaire to complete as you go, you will set off on a marked 8km route with staggered departures at 10:00, 10:30, and 11:00.
Along the trail, you will stop at key points around Les Gets. At each of these "Ă©tapes" (stages), you will be generously served regional food and drinks, which together make up a complete, typical Savoyard meal. With local entertainment and a prize-giving ceremony at 18:00 at the end of the day, it is a brilliant day out for all ages.

- What to bring: As you will be walking 8km, we highly recommend sturdy walking shoes, walking poles, a sun hat, and a pen to complete the quiz!
- Tickets: Registration opens soon. This event is very popular and spaces are limited, so we recommend booking early via the Les Gets Tourist Office.
