End of another great season approaching
Chalet Blog Sunday, 22 March 2015

Well all good things have to come to an end and the end of winter season is one of them, but Les Gets is keeping us all entertained till the end. We recently had a very exciting event taking place literally on Chalets 1066's doorstep. Last Week on Thursday 19th March we had the Rock the Piste festival where Selah Sue gave an incredible performance at the top of the Les Folliets lift. There is also a big party coming up soon at the Bellevue Apres ski bar at the bottom of the Chavanne on the 5th April with live music. Season flying by!
Chalet Blog Thursday, 05 March 2015

Here at Chalets 1066 we have had an amazing season - it has gone very quickly and we are just about to head into our 12th week of the season with only 6 weeks remaining. Saturday is going to be another busy changeover day but we are looking forward to the new guests arriving. Ski Joering in Les Gets!

Ski Joering in Les Gets!
Chalet Blog Thursday, 12 February 2015

Last week our chalet assistant was lucky to have her mum down for a few days and they decided to do something a bit different and went ski joering. Ski joering is when horses pull you along on your skis, it can be practiced by anyone who loves skiing and horses. Be it a gentle stroll or at a thrilling gallop, both the young and old can enjoy. The photo explains it all- they had a brilliant time and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who loves horses and skiing. This coming week in Les Gets is half term week, very busy week for our chalets 1066 team who are all working hard to make sure everything is prepared and ready for our next guests arriving this Saturday.Talking of this Saturday -...
