Les Gets market is similar to traditional street markets in the UK, before the supermarkets took over, some 40 years ago.
Every Thursday morning between 8am and midday, the local market sets up in the Marais parking area, on the righthand side just before the Chamois d’Or hotel.
Plenty of fresh local products, traditional decorations and crafts are on sale. This is often the best place to buy locally made produce.
Try the local speciality cheese, ham, sausage, honey, bread and jams, to mention a few.
