Chalet Hastings - Apartments with Hotel Services

Hastings is a very large chalet (formerly a hotel) with 4 apartments or suites, staff are on site 24 hours a day - and 'hotel' services are available. All the apartments are very spacious (there are no bunk beds) and often large groups will take a number of units. The service where we deliver fresh bread and croissants for breakfast is particularly popular and, if there are any problems, you can always get someone to help

The 4 suites or apartments in Chalet Hastings are:

• Wessex and Bayeux - both spacious 4 bedroom suites with log fires, accommodating up to 10 in comfort.
• Edith - with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, very comfortable for 6.
• La Fleche - with two bedrooms - can accommodate 4 to 6.

Large groups book two or three apartments - sometimes using different apartments for each age group.

The following facilities are available, at Chalet Hastings:

• A large Sauna with shower
• A Salon for having meals or relaxing in
• DVD library of some 300 DVD's
• PC in the reception area and Wi-Fi
• Ski/Boot store
• Childrens play area at the back
• Washing machine

As Chalet Hastings, the following services are available:

• A reception - where someone is available for questions, help and advice.
• We post a daily snow and piste reports daily.
• Breakfast is either delivered to your apartment or you can have breakfast in our Salon: - freshly based croissants, paid au chocloat and bread baked early in the morning, orange juice, eggs.
• Daily Cleaning is available if required.
• Linen, of course, is available throughout your stay.
• Chef Service - select from our menu. You can have your meal either in your Suite or our Salon.
• Ski/Boot fitting at the Chalet
• Arrangement of Transfers to/from Geneva Airport
• And not least, help and assistance in organising your holiday.

Because we offer a range of services and have a reception, we have to charge our clients 5.5% TVA, under French regulations, however, simply by using our ski-pass collection service and having boots/skis fitted at your chalet, you will typicaly have an additional 4 to 6 hours skiing time, over a week this equates to 8 to 10% more time on the slopes - so this more than pays for it's self.
