Les Gets - Slopes and snow conditions during Christmas week

The pistes are busy, temperatures ( that we have experienced) are around -2 to 1 degrees C and clearly lots of people are enjoying the skiing. Pictures taken on 26th December.

Pictures in the post were taken in the morning of 26th December, whilst a few days before there had been rain, temperatures were around -2 to around 1 degrees C ( this is what we saw when we were out) the pistes were quite hard but everyone was clearly enjoying themselves. This first picture opposite is from the top of the Ranfoilly lift.

This picture shows the Chavannes piste, these people were skiing down to the main mid station.

This shows the top of the Reine des Pres Piste, as you ski down to the Mouflin restaurant.

This is the new viewing station from the top of the Ranfoilly lift, last year the viewing station was much smaller, you can see Mont Blanc from here and usually you look over clouds in the valley.
