Tour de France - stage 15 starting in Les Gets
Haute-Savoie offers legendary circuits and passes to cycling lovers. Les Gets resorts has confirmed its membership to the national brand "Accueil Vélo" and also "Terre de Jeux 2024". It has also been selected to be CPJ - Training Center for Paris 2024 Olympics - for Cross-Country Mountain Biking and has been hosting for many years the stages of the UCI MTB World Cup as well as the World Championships like last year.
This is the 4th time that the resort, but also a pioneer destination for cycling, welcomes the Tour de France with the 15th stage, Les Gets to Saint-Gervais. This is a historic first as the resort of Les Gets will be the starting village.
Riders will have to cover 180km and will face the Forclaz de Montmin pass, then the Croix Fry pass and the Aravis pass. To finish on this stage, they will have to hold on for the final climb to Le Bettex on the Amerands hill where the slopes can reach 17%.
As the event takes place on a Sunday, Les Gets will welcome a large public both in the resort and in front of the TV screens.
