Les Gets - New Cyclamen ski Piste on the Chavannes Side

A new blue run was built during the summer, it starts from close to the top of the Nauchets lift, going down near to the school/lake. This is a beautiful blue run, with rollers.

This piste is so new it is not shown on the current piste map and there is no sign post other than the piste markers - so you need to know what to look for.

This post shows how to find the start of this piste, what to be aware of on the way down and where it leads to.

By using this piste you now have a second option to ski right from the top of the Ranfoilly lift ( 1826m) right down to the Les Gets village - all on blue runs.

As you will see from the pictures, there are hardly any people on this piste, as no one knows about it - yet! Note: pictures all taken this week.

01 pano of start

The easiest way to get to the start of this piste is to take the Nauchets Express and turn left, you look out for piste marker 30 and if you look closely you can see it is called Cyclamen.

02 look out for the start

Part way down you need to be careful as there is a cross roads with Violette. They have not had chance to put up signs yet saying this is a cross roads - so take care at this point.

03 cross roads

There are some beautiful quiet sections to this piste. You join the main blue into the village, close to the lake and school.
