Winter Activities in Les Gets

SnowShoeing

Snowshoeing is an amazing and up-and-coming activity which allows you to tread deep into the virgin snow covered landscape of the Alps without the experience required for off-piste skiing. Wearing specially designed plastic 'raquettes' (snowshoes) which spread your weight over the snow you are able to explore a silent and majestic world of snow covered forests and frozen lakes.
Snowshoeing is easy. Anyone can do it with no special training and people of all ages and levels of fitness love it.

Pottery Painting

At the bottom end of the village, there is a wonderful little craft 'school' this is run by one of the ESF teachers, she is open from around 3.00 every day (just when children start flagging).

You can buy, very cheaply, plates, mugs and other pieces of pottery, paint them with your own designs and she will fire them overnight.

Ice Rink

The Ice rink - in the Centre of Les Gets,  is open from 2 to 7 and 8 to 10 in the evening, this is a wonderful way to spend an evening.

Pony Rides

Pony rides are available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening, from the area in front of the Ice Rink.
