Chalets1066 is a group of spacious apartments and ski chalets in Les Gets, all within a few minutes walk of each other. We offer both Catered and Self Catered Accommodation for both the summer and winter seasons. We provide a flexible, friendly service.
Self Catered Chalets and Apartments
- Chalet Hastings - Two spacious 4 bedroom apartments - Wessex and Bayeux, one 3 bedroom apartment - Edith and one two bedroom - La Fleche. Sauna, Computer, DVD Library.
- Chalet Chavannes - 3 bedrooms, excellent quality with Sauna
- Chalet Duc du Savoie 3 Bedrooms, 5 minutes walk to the slopes in boots, 5 mins walk to the village, flexible, can accommodation up to 10 (in summer this is also available with a separate apartment which has a bedroom, kitchenette and living area).
- Chalet Julienne - can be rented as one whole chalet or half. Side A has 3 bedrooms and Side B has 2 bedrooms..
- Chalet Au Gre du Temps - Spacious, beautiful 4 bedroom chalet, log fire, sauna and ski in/ski out - also with double garage.
- Chalet Senlac - 4 bedroom chalet, comfortable for up to 9 people, sauna and ski back usually.
- Chalet Chardon - 3 Bedroom Chalet, almost ski in/out, hot tub and sauna.
We have Chalet Hosts for the self catered accommodation who can provide a range of optional services, these include: chef service, fresh croissant and bread delivery to your door in time for breakfast, grocery delivery service, lifts for children to ski school and ski/boot fitting at your chalet/apartment.
Multipass - Summer Activities for just €1 a day
For just 1€ a day, Multipass includes: tennis, swimming pools, lifts, busses and heritage sites.
Outstanding value, wonderful views, 5 bedrooms/4 bathrooms, 3 course evening meals with wine, followed by cheese and biscuits. hearty breakfasts, tea/coffee and cake after skiing. Ski back to within 50 yards, usually.
Family friendly, Children under 2 are free, 2 to 12 are 20% off and 12 to 16 10% off. We have a family room which can accommodate 4 and is excellent value.
We are in an excellent position on Route des Chavannes, the Navette bus stops right outside the main Hastings chalet; all other chalets are within a 2 minute walk (except Duc de Savoie). It is a 7 minute walk to the Piste and Les Folliets ski lift, you can usually ski back to the main building.
From the nearby Piste/Les Folliets lift you can either ski down into Les Gets, or take the lift. Using the Les Folliets ski lift you can easily ski down into Morzine.
Chalet Le Lapye - our catered chalet, is a 10 minute walk in ski boots to the lift and piste, the bus stops within 20 yards, we will also give free lifts to all customers in Le Lapye. It is a 2 minute walk from Le Lapye to Hastings Chalet.
Chalet Duc de Savoie, is a 5 minute walk from the village and 10 minutes walk down the road from the main Hastings building. There are wonderful views over the village and of Mont Chery from all the chalets/apartments.
Chalet Au Gre du Temps is a 5 minute walk from Hastings, it is almost on the slopes.
Les Gets has been rated as one of the world's top ski resorts - by the Independant Newspaper in 2005 and the Sunday Telegraph in October 2009. It is a beautiful traditional mountain village with an excellent snow record.
Summer in Les Gets
In the Summer there are many activities: mountain walking, mountain biking, horse riding, climbing or simply relaxing by the lake which is just 5 minutes walk away. Les Gets is recognised as the best location in the world for mountain biking. There are also many events organised, examples are:
- Paragliding competitions
- The three day festival of mechanical music - the village is closed to traffic and there are many different performances.
- Portues du Soleil Mountain Bike event
- Four day festival of dance, at Avoriaz, with free lessons for all abilities on each day - great fun.
- The Tour de France often goes through Les Gets (last year Lance Armstrong had to dismount just outside Bar Bush!)
