Skis, Boots and Passes

We believe that the best way to get greatest value from your holiday is to arrange ski/boot fitting at the chalet and to arrange ski pass collection - this gives around half a day's extra skiing time, and for a holiday with 6 days of skiing, this represents 8.3% greater skiing value from your holiday budget.

Boot Fitting at Hastings when you arrive:

We all know how frustrating it is to spend the first half day of our ski holiday queuing for ski and boot hire. We also know how difficult it is when boots do not fit quite correctly and you have to spend more time in the ski shop changing them.
We have an arrangement with ski-mobile so you can be fitted with boots and skis as soon as you arrive – this effectively gives you an extra half to one day’s skiing at no extra cost.
Costs are typically around the same as those in the village, where you have to que, we additionally, we have secured a further discount of 10% for our clients.
The way this works is you simply go to www.ski-mobile.com - you are are asked to select skis or boards and boots according to your level and style of skiing/riding, size, etc - you then enter your estimated time of arrival/the time you require the fitting and select your Chalet for delivery. Ski Mobile will arrive at the required time - any time from 07.00 hrs in the morning to 22.00 hrs in the evening.

Discount on Ski/Boot hire and clothing in Les Gets:

For those who want to rent skis in the Village, Jordan Sports are the ideal shop:

  • They are located opposite the ski schools, very close to the ski lifts and the Tourist Office
  • Skiis can be kept overnight, at no charnge, at the Jordan Sports shop - they will even give you a glass of the local speciality ‘La Chevre' when you come back from a day's sking.
  • The service offered is excellent and the skis are good quality - even their oldest skis have only been used for one previous season.
  • The shop is in the traditional savoyard style, staff are very helpful and there is a very wide range of clothing, accessories and equipment offered - all at good value for money.
  • Chalets1066 clients get 20% at peak ski season and up to 30% off peak (depending on dates/skis) on ski rental and 5% on clothes and equipment.

Ski Pass delivery to your Chalet

Again – we all know how frustrating it is queuing for ski passes when all we want to do is to get on the slopes. Your ski passes can be delivered to your chalet/apartment - ready when you arrive. The process is as follows:-

  1. Please go to: http://www.skipass-lesgets.com/
  2. You then select the ski passes you want - the site will automatically calculate discounts for groups of 4 or more (Family Discount).
  3. On the third page there is a drop down box where you select the Chalet or Hotel you are staying at - please select 'Chalets 1066'
  4. The ski passes will then be delivered to us and we will make sure they are in your chalet for your arrival.

If you have been to Les Gets before and still have your electronic ski passes - you can 're-charge' them on line - this is even faster and easier.
