Chef Service

Many people prefer to have their own space and the privacy of their own chalet or apartment, but do not relish the idea of cooking and shopping every day.

Our Chef  will discuss your requirements, buy the ingredients, and cook your meals. The following menus include vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and children's options. The only nuts we use are chestnuts and and we try to keep all other dishes nut free, though we cannot guarantee that our kitchen is free from all traces of nuts. For other dietary requirements please contact us.

Standard Chef Serivce - Menu Examples

Sunday

To start
Artichokes, feta, capers and preserved lemon salad
Vegan: As above without feta
Main Course
Beef and pork lasagne topped with Parmesan bechamel sauce served with dressed mixed leaves
Vegetarian: Seasonal vegetable lasagne with ricotta and cream served with dressed mixed leaves (vegetables change with the season)
Vegan: seasonal vegetable lasagne (egg free) without the cream and ricotta
Gluten free: meat or vegetable lasagne filling without the pasta sheets plus boiled potatoes

Children: Children's version of meat or vegetable lasagne with vegetables hidden in the sauce!

Monday

To start
Pan-fried scallops and spicy Merguez sausage in honey and balsamic vinegar

Tuesday

Plate of local charcuterie, cornichons and salad leaves served with crusty bread
Vegetarian: local cheese board served with crusty bread and onion confit
Vegan: artichoke hearts in ginger, honey and preserved lemons (caramel if honey is excluded)
Main Course
Salmon, smoked haddock and scallop fish pie with capers topped with buttery mashed potato served with leeks and carrots (type of fish will change with the season)
Vegetarian and gluten free: Nigel Slater's mushroom and gruyère mashed potato pie served with leeks and carrots
Vegan: Mushroom and mashed potato pie with leeks and carrots

Thursday

Vegetarian and vegan: Spiced sweet potato and spinach salad with sesame seeds

Roast balsamic onion, bacon, leek (broccoli from March) and Roquefort tart
Vegetable: Roast balsamic onion, leek (broccoli from March) and Roquefort tart
Vegan: Vegan pastry filled with roast balsamic onions and leeks or broccoli depending on season
Gluten free: Roast balsamic onions, bacon, leeks and Roquefort served with potatoes

Friday

Vegetarian, vegan: Mushroom Bourguignon served with carrots and potatoes

Saturday

The prices for the Chef Service when ordered for one day at a time are as follows:
2 course meals €23
3 course meals €28
Children's meals - €15 each

Please note, TVA at 5.5% needs to be added to the above prices.

Semi Catered Pricing - Special Price for Package of 6 evening meals:-


This menu can be included in a package of 6 meals for €132 per adult and €95 per child. There is a minimum of 6 adults eating for this menu with children counting as half an adult towards this minimum. If your numbers are smaller than this minimum please contact us as we may be able to accommodate you. The only changes that can be made to this menu are for allergies and dietary requirements.

If special ingredients are required then, of course, an additional charge will be necessary.

Special Events

Prices for the special meals are €45 per head including TVA for adults, €35 per head for a child version  of the special menu, as an alternative, on 'Special Event' days, children can have the standard childrens menu for €15:-
