Les Gets

Les Gets is situated just a one hour drive from Geneva Airport or 8 hours drive from Calais. It is a traditional mountain village, going back to the 11^th century.

The village has many restaurants, shops and bars and is lively in both winter and summer. There is also a spa, two cheese dairies where you can buy locally made cheese, a beautiful church and the world's only museum of mechanical instruments - fascinating to visit.

Les Gets Skiing

Les Gets has been twice rated as the best family ski holiday resort in the world - by the Sunday Telegraph in October 2009 and the Independent newspaper in 2005. Les Gets piste is also part of the massive Portes du Soleil area.

Les Gets Ski Area

The local ski area ranges from childrens areas, green and blue slopes to blacks - there are slopes also used for slalom training and races. You don't need to be an expert skier to have a great time skiing in Les Gets. The queues are short (compared with other resorts) and you can be on the slopes very quickly. In total, there area 65 slopes.
