Chalets 1066 were excellent in providing us with information, transport and lovely customer service during our stay. Nothing was too much bother for them, can't wait to return.

I thought that I would drop you a line to say how much we enjoyed our wonderful week in Les Gets. It was our first visit to this area and we found the resort to have a cracking mix of skiing for our family group... the pistes were in great condition. Our apartment, Edith, suited us perfectly, giving us more than adequate space as well as being cosy and welcoming. A few beers in the town after skiing then back to the apartment for the rest of the evening to relax was how we played it and we were ready to go again in the morning. The set up at Hastings works so well with your personal service and valve for money being top drawer.
We will pass on our recommendations to friends and family. Thanks so much for looking after us...

I would definitely use you again, it was affordable but really great facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Chloe Carr

Subject: Chalet Chardon
Hi Sue
I just wanted to let you know that we had a fabulous time in Les Gets and we loved Chalet Chardon. It worked perfectly for us and was so convenient being ski in ski out! We were spoilt rotten with the snow too!
We would love to come back and do it all again so will be touch when we decide on dates.
Morven and Dirk we're really helpful too so thanks to you all at Chalets1066.
Many thanks

January 2012:-
Just to say how much we enjoyed our Christmas in Wessex .......thank you for all your help in making everything easy for us.
All the family join me in wishing you and all the team a very happy 2012.
All the best
Daphne
I wanted to contact you to say a huge thank you from all of us in the party who stayed with you last week. You were THE perfect host and made us feel so welcome and comfortable - nothing was too much trouble for you and we all really appreciated you - it was the first time that Liz & Brian and the other bunch had been in a catered chalet and I think they've been converted! Unfortunately any future experience may not be as good as you wouldn't be there.....
We felt very sad that we didn't have time to come and say goodbye to you on Saturday - we were at the top of the Pointe de Lyon when we received a call from Skiidygonzales to say that they would be picking us up at 15.30 instead of 16.50 as they were worried about the build up of traffic - and we wanted to have that very necessary shower! So we hurled ourselves down the mountain and tried to grab a quick lunch at Le Vaffieu at the top of Folliets - we loved the hot chocolate there, but the snack bar service was shockingly slow - we queued for over half an hour for a sandwich!! So by the time we got to Chalet Hastings and threw ourselves in the shower and our stuff in the bags, there was no time left to do anything... as it turned out we got to Geneva in record time and the traffic had all dissipated. Still, better to be early than late when you're travelling with Easyjet!
I wonder if the water came back on on Saturday?! We were all really hoping it would, for your sake mostly, but also for the sake of your new clients - nothing worse than arriving and finding there's no water - except perhaps for you having to tell someone that there's no water!!!
Your cooking was fantastic, Laurie - we were all really happy with the quality of the food (and wine, speaking personally!) - the only things to complain were the scales, when we got home! Still, back on bread and water and hitting the gym tonight. Sigh.
If you ever have 5 minutes (ha ha) when you could email me the recipes for the red pepper quiche and also that truly divine pear and roquefort salad, I would be very grateful. I can also pass them on to Kate and Liz too.
And if you were ever to come up to Edinburgh for any reason, I would love to return the compliment and cook a meal for you - do get in touch if you are ever in our neck of the woods.
Anon.
Just to say thank you for a lovely week in Edith Swan Neck; we had a great time and loved staying in your chalet. Everyone was so helpful and you made us feel very welcome and relaxed, in spite of the marauding pack of boys! Hope you have an enjoyable down time and all the best for your next season.
Kind regards,
Ceri Mooney

Dear Sue, Morven & the rest of the team.
Just thought I would drop you a quick line to thank you all for service you all provided for our ski weekend just gone.
The apartment/chalet Bayeux was great. It was really spacious & one of the better equipped we have stayed at, (we have stayed at many chalets across the Alps over the years).
What really was appreciated was the extra mile you guys went to make our stay effortless/enjoyable from, arranging breakfast in the morning to providing a lift service to & from town. i don't believe many others would go to such a length., (oh and the transfers were both on time & well organised). I don't think you go do much more to make life any easier for your guests. Superb.
We were impressed with Les Gets as a whole, and enjoyed the skiing.
So again, many thanks from the whole party and I hope you have a busy & profitable rest of the season, (I hear snow may be forecast for the weekend),
Hope to see you again next year perhaps.
Regards
Mark Nutley

Subject: Doran Booking - 26th March 2010
Hi Sue,
I just wanted to say a big thank you from the Doran's and Ursell's who
stayed in Chalet Le Lapye at the end of March. We were blessed with the
weather and had a great week of skiing. The accommodation was lovely,
the food excellent and Laurie was an attentive host. We try to 'up the
anti' every year but we are really going to struggle to have a better
holiday next year.
Thanks again and best wishes for a successful 2010/2011 season.

Hi Morven,
I just wanted to drop you a line to say that we had an excellent half term week at Le Lapye. We were very well looked after by Mikey and Alex and are missing the fresh baked cakes each afternoon. All the meals we had were delicious and Mikey worked round our food preferences to come up with interesting and tasty dishes for all the party.
A holiday for 6 adults and 6 children/teenagers is always a challenge and our varying needs were well met by the Chalets 1066 team who were all helpful, friendly and responsive. Thank you for a great week.
As we mentioned to you on Friday we would like to return to Les Gets next year at February half term. I know that at the moment Le Lapye is your only catered chalet and while it worked for us this year we would like to find somewhere a little larger (growing teenagers) for 2012. Should you take on a larger catered chalet please let me know as we would be very happy to holiday with Chalets 1066 again.
With good wishes for the rest of the season,
Kind regards,
Kathryn

Subject: 5 - 11 March - La Fleche
""One of our best skiing holidays yet! Staying in la Fleche, Chalet 1066, was not only very affordable (well equipped, with surprisingly comfy beds!) but a great combination of the flexibility of self catering but the added services of a hotel - daily breakfasts delivered to your door, lifts to the slopes if required, an excellent supply of DVDs/board games and personal assistance whenever needed. We would also recommend Les Gets as an excellent resort for families with children with mixed skiing abilities, plus good piste management, fun ESF and a delightful Alpine cosy village atmosphere. The concoction will be difficult to beat!
