Family Skiing

Les Gets is recognised as having amongst the best facilities for children in the world, in a small village. There are many ski schools, where children as young as 3 years old can start to learn to ski, there are also kids clubs where they spend part of the time learning skiing in a fun environment and plan the rest of the day, there is a special snow play area in the village, also a kids skiing area on the slopes. One of our favourite places to take children after skiing is the  pottery in the village, where kids can paint pots - have their artwork 'fired' overnight and take their creations away the next day. For very young children, there is a creche in the village or a nanny can be arranged.

Childrens Skiing

Piou Piou Club - this is 50% play and 50% introduction to skiing, ideal for 3 to 5 years old. Prices are in the region of: 1 week, half days €125; 1 week full days €200; 1 week half days plus lunch €238; 1 week full days plus lunch €313; 1 lesson €34. Families love this club.

Ourson: From the age of 4, introduction to skiing, in a special reserved ski area with qualified staff and instructors. Prices sames as Piou-Piou Club

Les P'tits Montagnys Club for Children under 5 years - this the activities offered by the Piou-Piou Club (half the time) plus beginner level ski lessons. Prices are in the region of: 1 week half days €152; 1 week half days plus lunch €265; 1 week full days €230; 1 week full days plus lunch

360 International Ski School Group Ski lessons - the School has brilliant Instructors - for 4 years old upwards. 09.00 to 11.30 or 2.00 to 4.30 €100 to €125 for 6 sessions (one week - 6 days).

Les P'tits Montagnys Club - for Children 5 to 12 - in addition to ski lessons, depending on the weather, this also includes other indoor/outdoor activities such as: snow games, sledging, games, reading, painting, video's, etc. Prices in the region of: 1 week half days €137; 1 week half days plus lunch €250; 1 week full days €230; 1 week full days plus lunch €343.

Creche and Nanny Services:

Les Fripouilles -A Creche, based at the bottom of the Chavannes Rd and also behind the Tourist Bureau, reasonably priced, with fully qualified staff to take care of children up to 4 years old.

A private Nanny in the Chalet - this can be arranged for 6 days of the week to take care of small children. Costs are around €1000 for the week, 09.00 to 5.00 for 6 days - ideal if you have a number of small children.

Baby sitting services can be arranged in the evening.
